The Gathering at Epiphany
The Gathering is a senior group respite program (10 am - 3 pm) that provides a safe enjoyable social opportunity for seniors 55 & over and allows their caregivers time off from caregiving. We also offer a support group for caregivers from 10 am - 12 pm.
Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Tai Chi for Parkinson's and Wellness
Tai Chi is a Chinese exercise that is often called a moving meditation. This Tai Chi is designed especially for people with Parkinson's disease. It is designed to improve balance, coordination, focus of concentration, physical strength and mental well-being. It can be done standing or sitting in a chair. Meets Mondays.
Fitness Exercise Classes for people with Parkinson's Disease
This unique exercise program will follow a fitness format that stresses components of strengthening, stretching and aerobics. The therapist supervising the program will emphasize the benefits of exercise, taking advantage of your current capabilities, and will help you bring your fitness to a higher level. The cost is $4 per session, per person. Primary physician approval is required prior to the first exercise class. Please call 651-232-2098 to sign up. Monday-Friday 11:30-1:00 pm.
Caregiver Support Group
Meetings consist of current health care info and group discussion relevant to persons caring for an adult w/physical or memory disabilities. Free respite care is available w/advance notice. Meets the first Monday of every month from 1:00-2:30 at Emerald Crest. Contact Joanne Bartel for more information.
Brain Injury Support Group - Less than 12 months from the injury
This is an opportunity to broaden knowledge, to connect, to share questions, concerns or feelings, and to gain strategies for coping, caring, and living well. These groups are for individuals who are facing challenges related to their brain injuries. Family members will also be able to participate in both the share and support group meetings. Meets the 1st Monday of the Month.

Memory Loss Evening Support Group
For caregivers this is an opportunity to connect, to share questions, concerns or feelings and to learn strategies for coping and caring for someone with memory loss. For individuals with memory loss this is an opportunity to participate in activities that will provide social, spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive benefits. Memory Loss Education Series
This free monthly class meets the first Tuesday of each month, September-May, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Alzheimer's Association Office. 4550 W 77th Street, Suite 200, Minneapolis, MN. The class schedule includes: September 1‚ Memory Loss and Aging,

The Memory Club: Empowering Families Facing Early Memory Loss
An educational support group for persons recently diagnosed with early stage memory changes and their care partners. Meetings will include:
- Weekly topics followed by peer discussion.
- Expert speakers.
- Safe environment to share, learn, ask questions, form new friendships.
- Developed with the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota and North Dakota.
Pre-registration is required.
