Tai Chi for Parkinson's and Wellness
Tai Chi is a Chinese exercise that is often called a moving meditation. This Tai Chi is designed especially for people with Parkinson's disease. It is designed to improve balance, coordination, focus of concentration, physical strength and mental well-being. It can be done standing or sitting in a chair. Meets Mondays.
Fitness Exercise Classes for people with Parkinson's Disease
This unique exercise program will follow a fitness format that stresses components of strengthening, stretching and aerobics. The therapist supervising the program will emphasize the benefits of exercise, taking advantage of your current capabilities, and will help you bring your fitness to a higher level. The cost is $4 per session, per person. Primary physician approval is required prior to the first exercise class. Please call 651-232-2098 to sign up. Monday-Friday 11:30-1:00 pm.

Parkinson's Evening Education and Support Group
Focusing on Atypical, MSA and PSP, this support group is for individuals with Parkinson's Disease or a related Movement Disorder. It is also a support group for family members or caregivers. This group is an opportunity to broaden knowledge, to connect, to share questions, concerns, or feelings, and to gain strategies for coping, caring, and living well.
