Fitness Exercise Classes for people with Parkinson's Disease
This unique exercise program will follow a fitness format that stresses components of strengthening, stretching and aerobics. The therapist supervising the program will emphasize the benefits of exercise, taking advantage of your current capabilities, and will help you bring your fitness to a higher level. The cost is $4 per session, per person. Primary physician approval is required prior to the first exercise class. Please call 651-232-2098 to sign up. Monday-Friday 11:30-1:00 pm.
Twin Cities Metro Area Atypical Parkinson's Disease Support Group
This group is for anyone diagnosed or caring for someone undiagnosed with a Parkinson's disease spectrum disorder, including Lewy body dementia, progressive supranuclear palsy, and multiple systems atrophy.
Augustana Regent - Caregiver Support Group
The Memory Club: Empowering Families Facing Early Memory Loss
An educational support group for persons recently diagnosed with early stage memory changes and their care partners. Meetings will include:
- Weekly topics followed by peer discussion.
- Expert speakers.
- Safe environment to share, learn, ask questions, form new friendships.
- Developed with the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota and North Dakota.
Pre-registration is required.

Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting
The support group is for persons with Parkinson's Disease or related neurological disorders and/or their caregiver. Meetings focus on current research and treatment, tips for managing daily activities of living, and psychological coping skills. The discussion group is facilitated by physical therapists from Prairie Adult Care and the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
