Member Organizations

DARTS | supports older adults and family caregivers through professionally-coordinated services, information, practical help around the house, and education. They ensure mobility and community involvement through accessible ride services, and engage all generations in building community through volunteerism. Their caregiver services include a special site, www.caregivermn.org, caregiver coaching and counseling, care management, workplace eldercare seminars, educational forums for caregivers, and in-home respite.

DARTs

Senior Community Services | has over 60 years of experience in enhancing the independence, involvement, and quality of life for seniors and their families. They offer a broad array of services, including professional care coordination, caregiver support groups, Eldercare Partners caregiver coaching and counseling, an independent home living website  for caregivers, Medicare and health insurance counseling, homemaking and home maintenance services, meals on wheels, and programming at six SCS senior centers.

Senior Community Services

Amherst H. Wilder Foundation’s Community Services for the Elderly | supports older adults and their families in the east metro area through its adult day health programs — one general and one memory loss, assisted living programs, geriatric dental clinic, caregiver education and support, health and wellness education, and Meals on Wheels program.  CAPI – Center for Asians and Pacific Islanders | is a leading community-based social justice organization and a direct human service implementer of anti-poverty programs to create jobs, housing, food, health education, youth and senior social services, in order to promote economic independence and self-determination to 3,000 African and Asian refugees and immigrants annually.

 

Vietnamese Social Services of Minnesota | is dedicated to maintaining the identity of the Minnesota Vietnamese community while addressing the basic economic, educational, and health needs of refugees and immigrants statewide.
